Job summary

SOS HR Solutions in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and controls. You will ensure accurate reporting, strong cash-flow management, and compliance with policies and regulations.

You will support management with financial analysis, oversee day-to-day accounting activities, and lead a finance team to drive efficiency and data-driven decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with managerial experience.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, collections, and supplier payments.
  • Monitor sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and profitability.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial KPIs.
  • Control inventory valuation, stock movements, and slow/expired stock.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely tax/VAT compliance and statutory reporting, as applicable.
  • Establish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.
  • Provide management with financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations.
  • Supervise and develop the finance/accounting team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data in ERP/accounting systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field

Industry-Specific Experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical distribution, medical supplies, pharmacy, healthcare, or retail is preferred.
  • Good understanding of inventory-heavy businesses, product margins, credit control, supplier management, and working capital.
  • Experience handling high-volume transactions and multiple branches/outlets is an advantage.
