Job Title: Finance Manager

Department: Finance Department

Reporting to: CFO

Location: Kuwait

Job brief

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager who will analyze daily financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.

Responsibilities

1. Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the company's financial health.
2. Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments, including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
3. Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
4. Advise colleagues and executive management on financial decisions.
5. Supervise the documentation of the company's financial status and forecasts.
6. Mediate between the company, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution.
7. Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.

Requirements and skills

1. Proven experience as a Financial Manager for 3 to 5 years.
2. Experience in the financial sector, with previous roles such as financial analyst.
3. Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and the broader market.
4. Proficient in the use of finance software.
5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure proper financial processes.
7. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
8. Working knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
9. BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
10. Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA or similar are a plus.
