Job summary

GE Vernova in Kuwait is seeking a Field Test Engineer to support regional customer tests, instrumentation setup, data collection, and lab analysis according to established lab procedures. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and travel to customer sites in GCC.

The candidate should hold a related engineering degree, have minimum 2 years of field/lab testing experience, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum 2 years of field or lab testing experience.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Fluency in English.
Right to work in GCC without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Execute regional field tests and provide laboratory test support.
Place instrumentation, route cables, interface data acquisition equipment, operate software and collect quality data.
Develop test procedures for field samples and update processes as per international standards.
Design and operate lab test facilities, rigs, instrumentation systems, and related software.
Perform calibrations and maintain test equipment per ISO procedures.
Document results and daily field activities for stakeholders.
Follow safety guidelines and support audits, maintain logs, close issues.
