Field Service Technician

Every day, you will be in the field performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing exceptional technical support to ensure the flawless operation of our energy systems. Your role is crucial in minimizing client downtime and maintaining our world-class service. You will be part of a team that values your input and encourages innovative problem-solving to deliver the best solutions for our clients.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Assist in major overhauling of Hydraulic and SF6 Systems for HV GIS, including installation, testing, and commissioning of MV/HV GIS, and maintenance of MV/HV GIS. Supervise maintenance activities on HV/MV GIS under the guidance of a GIS Specialist.
• Install, test, and commission MV/LV switchgear systems and transformers. Perform repair works at site on MV/LV and transformer systems. Conduct control/protection wiring works. Support the Site Engineer in testing and commissioning. Maintain switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and protection equipment at substations of various voltages.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure efficient equipment performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing client questions and concerns.
• Maintain detailed service reports and documentation for each visit.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to uphold workplace safety standards.

What You Bring

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in a field service role, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a successful track record in resolving technical issues.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and field service management software.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse field conditions.
