Summary:

This job position is located in Camp Arifjan and Camp Buehring, Kuwait, supporting the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) requirement for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services. The FSR provides operation, maintenance, and supply support for the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) Systems.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Perform daily operation and maintenance tasks for the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) system at the fielded sites.
  2. Provide operation, maintenance, and supply support for the JPS System.
  3. Perform and support all required maintenance actions, including Operator’s, Field Level, and Sustainment Level maintenance to maintain the JPS.
  4. Operate the JPS in contingency and expanded Threat Condition (THREATCON) Delta roles as notified, during exercises, VIP visits, events, or increased threat levels.
  5. Perform system modifications and upgrades to replace obsolete parts, including routine, urgent, and emergency Modification Work Orders (MWOs).
  6. Distinguish hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.
  7. Perform installation, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronics equipment.
  8. Stock and maintain sufficient quantities of LRUs, SRUs, and repair parts to support operations and maintenance.
  9. Perform software upgrades and apply IA security patches.
  10. Maintain supplies, consumables, expendables, durables, and repair parts for all JPS systems.
  11. Interface with the installation CBRNE response cell or Emergency Management to ensure effective emergency response and maintain customer relations.
Required Experience and Education:

High School Degree or GED. Minimum 5 years’ experience. Prior experience with US Military force protection systems and chemical/biological detection equipment is preferred. Experience with power generation equipment (5-10 KW) is desirable. Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems, wiring, and LRUs. Experience with maintenance management software (Maximo preferred).

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Travel:

Yes, OCONUS.

Clearance:

Secret Clearance required.
