Summary:

This job position is located in Camp Buehring Kuwait and supports the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) requirement for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services. The Field Service Representative (FSR) III will supervise a team performing operation, maintenance, and supply support for the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) Systems.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Supervise a small team performing Contract Logistics Support (CLS) operations.
  2. Supervise daily operation, maintenance, and supply support for the Joint Portal Shield System.
  3. Supervise and support all required maintenance actions, including Operator's, Field Level, and Sustainment Level maintenance to maintain the Joint Portal Shield.
  4. Operate the JPS in contingency and Threat Condition Delta roles when notified by the Government, such as during exercises, VIP visits, or increased threat levels.
  5. Manage system modifications and upgrades, including routine, urgent, and emergency MWOs.
  6. Oversee installation, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronics equipment.
  7. Manage repair parts stock, including LRUs, SRUs, supporting daily operations and preventative maintenance.
  8. Supervise software upgrades, IA security patches, and system or component upgrades due to obsolescence or shortages.
  9. Handle management of supplies, repair parts, work orders, training, and administrative records for CLS operations.
  10. Coordinate with the installation CBRNE response team and Emergency Management to ensure effective emergency response.
Level of Supervision:

Supervises a small team and works independently to complete tasks on schedule and to quality standards.

Required Education & Experience:
  • High School Degree or GED; minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Experience with US Military force protection systems, preferably with Joint Portal Shield Systems.
  • Experience maintaining chemical/biological detection equipment.
  • Supervisory experience with CLS on CBRN Force protection systems.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic systems, components, wiring harnesses, LRUs.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software (Maximo preferred).
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Must be able to travel extensively.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects.
