As a Tech Pro Engineer at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers within the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring successful implementation of solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by delivering exceptional technical service.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop opportunities for business growth by collaborating actively with sales to engage with customers and develop solutions. Generate sales leads actively.
  2. Perform system upgrades and modifications, including installation, configuration, implementation, and commissioning of Honeywell’s product range, such as industrial control and safety systems, third-party DCS systems, or SCADA products, to meet customer specifications.
  3. Maintain current technical knowledge of HPS networking and wireless product/system portfolios, with expertise in specific network disciplines. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, escalating as necessary.
  4. Regularly maintain customer equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, responding promptly to service requests and adhering to GSM process timelines.
  5. Provide 24/7 support for assigned clients as per the monthly standby roster, maintaining site IDs and readiness.
  6. Adopt and adhere to global standards for action tracking, timely submission of timesheets, and billing to ensure prompt invoicing.
  7. Comply with health, safety, and environmental obligations, including training, PPE use, and safety observations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Systems, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity Science.
  • Adaptable individual with strong communication skills, technical knowledge in industrial automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and customer focus.
  • Willingness to stay updated with industry advancements and maintain a continuous learning mindset.
