Primary Objective
- Coordinate specific tasks within the environmental engineering discipline.
- Ensure the progress and quality of assigned tasks, supervising engineers and graduates.
- Ensure all work conforms to codes, practices, contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and procedures.
- Provide innovative, cost-effective solutions for operating problems and capacity constraints in oil, gas, and petrochemical operations.
- Manage, execute, and complete engineering tasks in the environmental discipline.
- Assist project engineers with contract document input, including design criteria and scope of work.
- Coordinate with other engineers and discipline groups to produce deliverables on time.
- Manage environmental studies and projects as assigned.
- Develop and improve company standards and environmental design methods.
- Produce technical reports and operating manuals.
- Mentor and train new environmental engineering graduates for professional development.
- Adhere to Quality Assurance guidelines relevant to the Oil and Gas Business Unit.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure personal safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering degree in Environment, Chemical, or an equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
- Minimum years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry, with heavy oil project exposure; upstream onshore experience preferred.
- Experience working in GCC countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, or UAE.
- Experience with PMC projects in relevant industries.
- Proficiency with advanced engineering tools, data systems, and office software.
- Effective communication skills across cultures and nationalities.
- Knowledge of process engineering through all project phases from FEED to commissioning.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Willingness to engage with clients as needed.
