Primary Objective

• Coordinate specific tasks within the environmental engineering discipline.
• Ensure the progress and quality of assigned tasks, supervising engineers and graduates.
• Ensure all work conforms to codes, practices, contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and procedures.
• Provide innovative, cost-effective solutions for operating problems and capacity constraints in oil, gas, and petrochemical operations.
• Manage, execute, and complete engineering tasks in the environmental discipline.
• Assist project engineers with contract document input, including design criteria and scope of work.
• Coordinate with other engineers and discipline groups to produce deliverables on time.
• Manage environmental studies and projects as assigned.
• Develop and improve company standards and environmental design methods.
• Produce technical reports and operating manuals.
• Mentor and train new environmental engineering graduates for professional development.
• Adhere to Quality Assurance guidelines relevant to the Oil and Gas Business Unit.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure personal safety practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering degree in Environment, Chemical, or an equivalent diploma from an accredited institution.
• Minimum years of experience in Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry, with heavy oil project exposure; upstream onshore experience preferred.
• Experience working in GCC countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, or UAE.
• Experience with PMC projects in relevant industries.
• Proficiency with advanced engineering tools, data systems, and office software.
• Effective communication skills across cultures and nationalities.
• Knowledge of process engineering through all project phases from FEED to commissioning.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Willingness to engage with clients as needed.
