Roles and responsibilities

At KPMG, you will join a team of compliance professionals who are part of the Quality and Risk Management team that is responsible for monitoring the firm’s regulatory compliance and adhering to internal policies, procedures, and guidance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining, analyzing, and maintaining client background data.
  • Preparation and documentation of client acceptance and periodic evaluations.

· Assist the engagement team in gathering client information from public sources, internal databases, and company registries. Utilize research and screening tools to collect and validate data, ensuring documentation compliance with established standards.

· Working on various other risk management procedures set up by the firm to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, management, or finance
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in programs such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Client-oriented
  • High level of integrity

Experience and Background

  • Between 1 to 2 years of experience in KYC procedures or in a compliance function.
  • Proficiency in the Arabic language is preferred.
