Electronics Technician - Cementing

Location: Kuwait

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair all instrumentation malfunctions on various oil field equipment.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair all electronic malfunctions.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair all real-time monitoring software packages.
  4. Troubleshoot and repair all recording setups with automatic density control.
  5. Maintain speed monitoring devices installed on units & pick-ups.
  6. Identify and stock the right spares inventory while going through parts manual.
  7. Perform jobs/tasks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, ensuring that correctly performed tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations.
  8. Ensure consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined.
  9. Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.
  10. Ensure individual and crew work safety.
  11. Wear proper PPE and observe HSE policies.
  12. Maintain the required safety training.
  13. Be available on short notice to visit job sites or on highways for equipment breakdown.

Education / Qualifications:

Diploma or Associate Engineering Degree in Electronics.

6 - 8 years relevant experience in an oil field company.

Must have a Kuwait Light / Heavy Duty Driving License.
