Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs is seeking a skilled Civil/Construction Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on civil projects. You will perform wiring, install distribution boards, lighting and safety devices while following drawings and standards.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, relevant ITI/ Diploma credentials, and the ability to work at construction sites with team coordination and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of relevant experience in civil/construction electrical works.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related trade preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical installations and building/civil works.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in civil construction projects.
• Carry out electrical wiring for residential, commercial and building projects.
• Install distribution boards, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, isolators, breakers and distribution systems.
• Perform cable pulling, termination, glanding and conduit installation.
• Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and layouts.
• Test electrical circuits and identify faults using testing equipment.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP and other site teams.
• Follow project specifications, electrical standards and site safety procedures.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Install maintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in civil construction projects
• Carry out electrical wiring for residential commercial and building projects
• Install DBs switches sockets lighting fixtures isolators breakers and distribution systems
• Perform cable pulling termination glanding and conduit installation
• Read and follow electrical drawings wiring diagrams and layouts
• Test electrical circuits and identify faults using appropriate testing equipment
• Assist with electrical installation testing commissioning and maintenance
• Coordinate with civil MEP and other site teams
• Follow project specifications electrical standards and site safety procedures

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with DBs MCCBs MCBs RCCBs ELCBs contactors relays and isolators
• Knowledge of conduit trunking cable tray cable pulling and cable termination
• Experience installing lighting sockets switches emergency lights and other electrical fixtures
• Ability to use multimeter clamp meter insulation tester Megger and other electrical tools
• Ability to read electrical layouts schematic diagrams and single-line diagrams
• Knowledge of earthing grounding and basic electrical protection systems
• Basic troubleshooting of electrical faults and short circuits

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as a Civil/Construction Electrician.
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related trade preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in building and civil electrical works.
• Good knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and installation practices.
• Ability to work according to drawings and site requirements.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at construction sites.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• GCC/Kuwait experience is an added advantage.
