Job summary

Egis Kuwait is seeking an Electrical Inspector to ensure quality, safety, and compliance of electrical installations across construction projects in the region.

The role requires reviewing drawings, coordinating inspections with contractors, and mentoring junior inspectors while staying current with electrical codes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical inspection with site supervision.
• Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to interpret electrical codes and apply them effectively.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in site supervision and project management.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, components, and installations on construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards
• Supervise and coordinate electrical inspection activities across multiple project sites
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
• Identify and report any electrical deficiencies, safety hazards, or code violations
• Collaborate with senior engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve electrical issues and ensure timely project completion
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of all findings and recommendations
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors and site personnel
• Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of electrical inspection procedures and protocols
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on construction sites
