Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical and automation technicians in performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for motors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems.
  • Authorize work permits and validate electrical/automation task completion.
  • Audit maintenance logs and equipment records to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Liaise with production and utility teams to align maintenance with operational needs.

Skills

Knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems

Overview

We are looking for a talented and skilled Electrical Supervisor - Electrical and Automation in Rolling Mill Plant to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. You will be responsible to supervise and coordinate electrical and automation maintenance activities to ensure reliable performance of plant equipment and control systems. Lead technicians in preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, plan and authorize tasks, audit records, and liaise with production and support departments to achieve safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical and automation technicians in performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for motors, drives, PLCs, and automation systems.
  • Authorize work permits, shift activities, and validate electrical/automation task completion.
  • Audit test reports, maintenance logs, and equipment records to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Liaise with production, mechanical, and utility teams to align maintenance with operational needs.
  • Diagnose recurring faults in automation or electrical systems and escalate critical issues for resolution.
  • Allocate manpower, tools, and test equipment to optimize maintenance efficiency.
  • Report maintenance performance, system reliability, and improvement recommendations to the Department Head.
