Job summary

confidential company in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead on-site electrical works in KNPC-regulated projects. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specs, NFPA/IEC codes, and safety standards while coordinating with project team.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in electrical engineering within oil & gas or construction, with hands-on fire alarm experience and proven ability to review drawings and manage submittals on complex sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in electrical works within oil & gas, industrial, or institutional construction projects
• Prior experience with KNPC or similar authority-regulated projects preferred
• Hands-on experience in fire alarm systems installation, testing, and commissioning
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, cabling, and electrical systems installation, testing, and commissioning
• Familiarity with NFPA and local fire authority (Kuwait Fire Force) requirements
• Experience in shop drawing review, material submittals, and as-built documentation
• Professional command of English (spoken and written) for technical correspondence and reporting
• Valid Kuwait driving license and transferable residency
• Ability to work full-time on a daily basis

Responsibilities

Job description

To be responsible for the execution, supervision, and technical coordination of electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes (NFPA/IEC/local authority requirements as applicable to KNPC-regulated projects).
