A leading technology services company in the Middle East is looking to hire an Electrical & ELV Estimation & Project Engineer to manage cost estimations and project execution. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and skills in project management. • Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
• Gather proposals, specifications and related documents.
• Performing detailed tender review including contractual and commercial terms and proper risk analysis
• Preparing accurate cost estimation and competitive techno-commercial offers
• Building a data base of vendors
• Preparing variation estimation
• Coordinating with Project Execution team and commercial for monitoring costs, preparation of estimation for variation works, valuations and claims
• Capable of project management, engineering, execution of construction Electrical work
  
  

Qualifications

Must have:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience
• Previous experience working in Electrical & ELV construction projects
• Good attention to details.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driver’s license
• Able to co-ordinate all tendering functions to ensure good liaison and co-operation between internal departments and external suppliers/vendors
• Excellent business and commercial acumen
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic leader with strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
