Job summary
UNITED STEEL INDUSTRIAL CO. in Kuwait invites a skilled Electronic Specialist to join our team supporting maintenance across the steel making plant. You will coordinate electrical/electronic maintenance, guide technicians, and ensure safe, reliable equipment operation.
You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, update SAP records, and support RCA investigations. Hands-on experience with motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems is essential; familiarity with high-temperature
Qualifications
- Technical certificate, diploma or bachelor in electrical tech or related field.
- 7+ years electrical maintenance experience in steel/heavy industries.
- Experience guiding technicians in steel plants and rolling mills.
- Knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical/electronic maintenance schedules and troubleshooting.
- Guide technicians in condition monitoring, testing and calibration.
- Update SAP with feedback and closure details.
- Record maintenance execution data in SAP for equipment history.
- Support RCA investigations with field observations and insights.
- Maintain spare parts, perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure safety, compliance and high reliability of systems.
