Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance in a steel making plant.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• Strong fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, control panels, and lighting.
• Conduct inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of electrical components as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
• Install, wire, and connect electrical equipment, panels, and devices according to electrical diagrams and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• HSE & Quality Responsibilities: comply with policies and execute health, safety and environment plans.

We are looking for a talented and skilled Electrical Technician in Steel Melt Shop to join our multicultural and diverse team in Kuwait. Responsible for working with various electrical components, ensuring proper functionality, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with other teams to support steel production operations. Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of steel production processes.

Duties may include but will not be limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, control panels, and lighting
• Conduct inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of electrical components as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions
• Install, wire, and connect electrical equipment, panels, and devices according to electrical diagrams and specifications
