Packaging Specialist

Job Responsibilities

1. Product Packaging: Prepare and package products according to company guidelines, ensuring that items are neatly and securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping.
2. Labeling: Apply accurate and clear labels to packaged products, ensuring all required information such as product description, weight, and batch numbers are correctly displayed.
3. Quality Control: Inspect items before packaging to ensure they meet quality standards and remove any defective or damaged products.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor packaging supplies (boxes, tapes, labels) and report low stock to supervisors for replenishment.
5. Assembly Line Support: Work on assembly lines to assist in product preparation, packing, and organization for delivery or storage.
6. Shipping Preparation: Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure that all packaged goods are sorted correctly, loaded, and prepared for timely dispatch.
7. Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety standards and regulations during the packaging process to avoid injuries or product damage.
8. Efficiency: Meet daily or weekly packaging targets and work in coordination with other team members to maintain an organized workflow.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packaged products, quantities, and batch information for inventory and shipment tracking.
10. Equipment Operation: Operate packaging equipment and machines, ensuring proper use and maintenance of all tools and machinery used in the packaging process.
