Forklift Driver

Is responsible to move, locate, relocate and stack products as informed by supervisor and is accountable for the safe and efficient operational use.

Responsibilities:

1. Loads outbound shipments;
2. Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations, efficiently stack and store the products in the assigned areas and locations;
3. Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, continuously report quality variances;
4. Ensures that there is minimum damage to goods while moving goods between vehicles and the bin/ stack/ rack;
5. Retrieves and prepares products for delivery, ensuring that the exact quantity and product type is retrieved for loading;
6. Efficiently moves products from staging and/or storage areas into designated locations;
7. Maintains the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion;
8. Inspects and performs minor maintenance on the forklift and or other equipment;
9. Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed procedures;
10. Keeps appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security is maintained;
11. Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety and reports any areas of concern to Assistant Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 1–3 year experience on a similar position in food / drink industry;
2. Full knowledge of activities and procedures of own job, the job requires good understanding of work routines and procedures in own job;
3. Valid Kuwait driving license for Heavy Vehicles / Construction.
