The contractor shall provide resident Microsoft Administrator as per the following roles, responsibilities, and minimum qualifications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Install and configure Microsoft OS and various applications in a Microsoft environment.
Management and administration of applications running on a Microsoft server environment.
Maintain & enhance existing system administrator tools.
Diagnose and isolate operating system, server-side networking, and application-related problems.
Maintain effective communications with IT team and other support organizations.
Provide system backup support including user side, scripts, backup software, and web-based monitoring tools.
Assist with reporting metrics on system performance, stability, and utilization in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Have a high level of technical knowledge regarding Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance for Azure Cloud environment & on-premise. Execute best practices and techniques to maintain and enhance information security.
Build the server's back-end architecture.
Ability to directly install and maintain Windows-based programs. Design, develop, test, maintain & document custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable.
Provide design, development, testing, maintenance, delivery, and support for the full life cycle of activities related to systems and subscriptions in Azure Cloud environment & on-premise.
Manage applications, services, data, devices, and users across Microsoft 365 services.
Configure, manage, and monitor Microsoft 365 services.
Conduct system maintenance activities, review error logs and user-reported errors, and identify stable and reliable solutions.
Monitor performance to reduce interruptions and server crashes.
Develop proactive solutions when issues or bugs are identified that affect server performance.
Perform system backups as required by corporate policy and execute quick recovery in case of crash or outage.
Maintain system security by identifying faults and vulnerabilities within the server's architecture.
Adequate knowledge of viruses and other sources of server vulnerability. Develop and deploy protection measures.
Minimum Qualifications:
University Degree in Computer Science / Electronics. ITIL Foundation Certified.
CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and knowledge of NetApp Storage.
Microsoft certification: Azure Administrator Associate OR Microsoft 365 certification: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
