Job Summary

The E-commerce Officer's primary objective is to deliver a sustained competitive edge for GTRC brands at the point of purchase for assigned customers. They will play an integral role in collaborating across all functional areas (trade marketing, sales operations, finance, logistics) to develop business results and secure profitable growth per category and customer.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with supplier marketing departments, GTRC trade marketing & sales departments, and the assigned customer departments to make decisions that grow our business.
  2. Understand retailer perspectives and align them with GTRC's strategies through information gathering, account strategy mapping, and developing action plans to improve results per category and brand.
  3. Conduct and lead negotiations for annual GTRC business development agreements.
  4. Leverage trade spending and propose tailored promotional activities per customer to increase business results quarterly and annually.
  5. Perform quarterly business reviews, monthly sales reports, market studies, and promotional calendar planning and execution for assigned categories, brands, and outlets.
  6. Build and maintain positive top-to-top relationships with assigned customers.
  7. Analyze trends and progress in brand shares, category sales, promotions, and volume performance per outlet and customer.
  8. Analyze sales performance, identify trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Background in eCommerce, digital selling, and digital marketing
  • Problem-solving skills and good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Solid presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills in Arabic & English
  • Team player and result-oriented
