Job description

Educational Background

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Electrical

Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.

Professional Experience

Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience in drafting for large-scale infrastructure,

smart city, or MEP projects.

Minimum 3 years working experience in Kuwait or GCC region with understanding of

local standards and consultant expectations.

Demonstrated experience with: Smart systems layouts (e.g., CCTV, BMS, ICT

infrastructure) , Architectural coordination , MEP and ELV drawings

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in: AutoCAD (2D & 3D) , Revit / BIM , Navisworks / Civil 3D

(preferred) , Layer management, xRefs, and CAD standards

Capable of generating: Detailed as-built drawings , Coordination drawings , Shop

drawings and installation layouts

Project Coordination & Site Interface

Able to coordinate effectively with: Site engineers and construction managers ,

Procurement and technical submittal teams , Consultant’s engineering and inspection

team

Must be capable of attending site meetings, identifying clashes, and providing real-time

drawing updates as per construction progress.

Documentation and Quality Compliance

Must ensure: All drawings are documented in line with consultant procedures and

QA/QC standards and all revisions are tracked and recorded systematically

Experience in document control interface and drawing submission portals (e.g., Aconex

or equivalent)

Skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy , Strong communication and team collaboration ,

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines , Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
