Description

stc Kuwait is actively recruiting for the role of Director - Digital Experience Platforms. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end digital technology strategy and execution across the organization’s digital channels, including mobile applications, websites, and digital customer interfaces. This role will also oversee the integration architecture layer (e.g., SOA, APIs), ensuring seamless communication across systems and services. The Director will manage digital and integration teams, driving innovation, performance, and high-quality digital delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery and development lifecycle for all digital platforms (mobile apps, websites, and self-service portals).
• Define and enforce best practices for digital design, architecture, and development processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to align digital roadmap with business goals.
• Oversee the enterprise integration layer, including SOA, API management, and microservices.
• Ensure reliable, scalable, and secure integration between backend systems and digital front-end.
• Drive the evolution of integration frameworks to support modern digital demands.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must the below minimum requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or a Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in digital development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong background in software architecture and development for mobile and web platforms.
• Solid knowledge of integration technologies, including SOA, RESTful APIs, ESB, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of digital tools and pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, React/Angular, native/hybrid mobile frameworks, etc.).
