A leading engineering firm in Kuwait is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and develop 11KV Breakers and Panels. The role requires a minimum of 7 years in MV switchgear industries and proficiency in 3D design software. You will coordinate with consultants and internal teams, prepare technical documents, and conduct failure analyses. Candidates should have strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in MV switchgear industries for Senior Engineer.
• 4+ years of experience for Engineer role.
• Proficiency in handling breaker specifics and panel assembly.

Job description

1. Design & development of 11KV Breakers & Panels (SBB & DBB) for different ratings.

2. Coordinate with the technical consultant (from India) for designing the breaker & panel, and guide the IEPC team for detailed design of other rating breakers and panels.

3. Maintain technical review documents at each stage & prepare CAPA reports for failure analysis.

4. Coordinate with internal teams for various activities.

Skills

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical

Minimum Experience: 7+ years in MV switchgear industries for Senior Engineer, 4+ years for Engineer

Job-Specific Skills: Understanding of breaker specifics, breaker functions, panel assembly, type tests, material selection, manufacturing processes, & sheet metal processes.

Proficiency in 3D software/inventor.
