Department Manager (WRTW) Luxury Fashion

Our client is one of the world's most well-known international Luxury Fashion houses, and they are looking for Ready To Wear Department Manager with at least five years of experience in luxury retailing, including three years in a management role, to be located in one of the most exciting and successful luxury shopping areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

1. Assist Associates with various customer service issues.
2. Build a local clientele.
3. Ongoing performance management to consistently meet goals.
4. Demonstrate leadership and lead by example.
5. Implement and execute strategic business plans for the store.
6. Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rate within company standards by regularly following up with operations and executing initiatives as needed.
7. Enforce merchandise standards as set forth by the visual department.
8. Consistently network with market competition in an effort to assist in staffing and recruiting.
9. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors, and corporate office.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:

1. Minimum 3 years of management experience; luxury experience is a must.
2. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
3. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
4. On the sales floor manager, not back of the office manager.
5. Proficient computer skills.
6. Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the department store and the daily activities of the sales staff engaged in promoting and selling products to ensure customer satisfaction.
7. Maximize sales by building high-performing teams, enhancing our brand image in the market, and ensuring a consistent superior customer experience.
8. Develop new customer relationships and interact with existing customers to increase sales.
9. Attain monthly sales, conversion, and other KPI goals.
10. Build strong partnerships with corporate, district, and/or regional managers.
