Job Description

• The Data Engineer should have knowledge of the end-to-end lifecycle of data processing.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must have experience using MS SSIS, T-SQL.
• Ability to develop code based on provided design.
• Knowledge of data profiling, performance tuning, ETL creation, and database design is expected.
• Proficient in writing elaborate SQL statements and stored procedures, primarily on Microsoft SQL Server (ETL tool SSIS).
• Experience in code optimization and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Creating queries that ensure high data retrieval speed.
• Able to contribute to design, adhere to defined coding standards, and follow quality processes.
• Writing and optimizing T-SQL statements for data manipulation and retrieval.
• Developing stored procedures, packages, and functions.
• Performing unit testing, supporting other testing phases, and closing any identified defects.
• Knowledge of the banking domain will be helpful.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and managers.
