Role Overview

The Customer Enquiry Advisor is responsible for answering customer calls and inquiries, ensuring bookings and traces are actioned according to network standards. The role provides a courteous, efficient, and proactive point of contact for internal and external customers. The agent also helps achieve revenue targets by promoting and selling DHL’s products and value-added services.

Your Tasks
  1. Provide high-level customer service and professionalism, considering all DHL customers require instant and immediate action.
  2. Follow customer service procedures to comply with ISO standards and safe working practices.
  3. Track and trace shipments, investigate undelivered, returned, delayed, lost, damaged, and held shipments, and update customers within the agreed timeframe.
  4. Maintain thorough knowledge of all departments, DHL network, products, and services to provide accurate information confidently.
  5. Identify recurring problems and direct information for prompt corrective actions.
  6. Promote and sell DHL’s value-added services and participate in the Sales Lead programme to contribute to revenue.
  7. Suggest improvements to DHL’s procedures, technology, and service quality.
  8. Work effectively both individually and as part of a team to achieve goals and promote a positive team environment.
  9. Handle customer complaints competently and resolve issues to their satisfaction with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
  1. Educational background with knowledge of the Service Industry is advantageous.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  3. Good oral and written communication skills; English and Arabic preferred.
  4. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and taking ownership.
  5. Ability to tolerate stress in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent planning and organizational skills.
