Job summary

Avanta Works in Kuwait City is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious meals for our customers, creating menus, and helping the restaurant meet its financial goals.

You will lead kitchen staff, monitor stock levels, order supplies as needed, ensure equipment is clean and in working order, and develop new recipes to keep the menu fresh. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and nutrition.
• Ability to lead and motivate staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An immigrant background is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus according to budget and customer needs.
• Supervise kitchen staff during meal preparation and services.
• Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as necessary.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in working order.
• Develop new recipes to keep the menu fresh and exciting for customers.
• Advise customers on menu choices when needed.
