Job description

Preparation and submission of monthly/interim valuations certificates to Client.
Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying
and checking payments and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors
to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Preparation of budgets in conjunction with engineering and construction team
members
Assist in producing activity schedules and cash flow forecasts.
Allocating the budget and establishing a Cost Baseline.
Prepare regular cost reports, including cost-to-complete, variance analysis, and
earned value management (EVM).
Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities), scope breakdowns, and assist in the
alignment of contractual documents with budget expectations.
Checking / approving Purchase Order / subcontract agreement with Budget.
Verify subcontractor claims and evaluate variations.
Accountable for the review and monitoring of project cost and value against the
Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in line with project requirements.
Track and monitor actual costs against the approved budget throughout the
project lifecycle.
Participate in the preparation of contracts, work orders, and subcontractor
agreements, ensuring clarity of scope, deliverables, and financial terms.
Participate to the review and validation of periodical project reviews (budget
variations).
Initiate and evaluate variations to subcontractors, ensuring that all scope
changes are properly assessed, justified, priced, and documented in accordance
with contract terms.
Manage contract close-out procedures including reconciliation and financial
reporting.
Prepare and validate activity-based budgets, ensuring clear cost allocation
across project deliverables.


Liaise with clients to clarify cost-related issues and develop timely and
meaningful monthly invoices. Ensure payment of invoices according to EPC
contract terms.
Proficient in IFS ERP system for cost tracking and reporting.
