Job summary

KUWAIT STEEL is seeking a skilled Control Room Operator for its Ferro Silicon Plant in Kuwait. You will monitor the Submerged Arc Furnace and related process systems from the control room, ensuring safe, stable production and compliance with HSE standards.

The role requires experience with DCS/PLC-based control, coordinating with field operators, and maintaining accurate logs and shift reports. Strong problem-solving and safety awareness are essential to keep production targets and product

Qualifications

• Familiar with SAF and ferro silicon production.
• Experience with DCS/PLC-based control systems.
• Strong ability to monitor process parameters and alarms.
• Knowledge of HSE and permit-to-work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SAF and related systems via PLC for safe operations.
• Coordinate with shift personnel to address deviations and equipment issues.
• Maintain logs, shift reports, production records, and data history.
