Summary Section

To ensure high quality administrative support is provided to the Contracts Department from inception through to Contract Close-Out.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance to the Contracts Department personnel.
  • Supports the Contracts Administrators in the preparation of tender invitation documents.
  • Supports the Contracts Administrators in the production of documentation for approvals etc.
  • Distributes the Contract documents as directed by the Contracts Administrator.
  • Completes and ensures safe storage of contract audit files.
  • Maintains contract correspondence files.
  • Arranges for any original bonds, warranties, insurance certificates or policies to be copied and distributed as directed by the Contracts Administrator.
  • Supports the Contracts Administrators in the production of bidder and contractor performance feedback reports.
  • Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices, understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years overall post-graduation experience.
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience in the oil and gas industry of which
  • 3 years to have been in a similar role specifically within a contracts department.
