Hiring: Contract Manager – EPC Power & Infrastructure Projects

Ahmadi, Kuwait

Lead contractual excellence across large-scale EPC utility and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and safeguarding project outcomes from start to finish.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and interpret EPC, O&M, PPA and related project agreements.
  • Identify and track key contract milestones, ensuring timely submissions to avoid delays.
  • Review EPC claims for milestone payments with finance and planning teams to ensure compliance and lender approvals.
  • Track and document non-conformances, ensuring corrective action from EPC contractors.
  • Support project leadership in managing the Change Procedure and approvals process.
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors on vendor and material approvals for shipments by land, sea, or air.
  • Monitor procurement progress and escalate corrective actions to mitigate schedule impacts.
  • Build robust records to support claims management (costs, delays, extensions of time).
  • Draft formal letters and notices to EPCs, lenders, O&M contractors, and buyers.
  • Liaise with insurers on major shipments and claims relating to loss or damage.
  • Review and provide input on Monthly Progress Reports and meeting documentation.

  • Strong expertise in contract law, claims management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to safeguard project outcomes and manage high-value agreements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic an advantage.
