Job description

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in project management within a consultancy firm in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full construction process, from planning through to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion in line with established timelines and budgets.

• Supervise the work of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and safety regulations.

• Collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and project teams to define project requirements and ensure proper planning and execution.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring smooth workflow, effective coordination, and optimal team performance.

• Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks, while implementing corrective actions when needed.

• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, and financial records.

• Effectively manage and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• A proven track record of 15+ years of experience as a Construction Manager with expertise in project management of large public and mega projects within a consultancy firm in Kuwait.

• In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract management, and project budgeting.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
