Job summary

The position includes crane inspection, routine maintenance, and reporting any mechanical issues. Candidates may be new to the field if they demonstrate the right qualifications and skills; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand instructions is essential.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle crane operations safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane according to established safety protocols.
• Follow directions from supervisors to move materials or construct structures.
• Ensure proper use of crane controls and functions.
• Inspect crane before use to ensure safety of operator and those around it.
• Monitor operation of crane, look for malfunctions or mechanical issues, and report any problems immediately.
