Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, IT, robotics, education with a technology specialization, or closely related field.
• Teaching certification or recognized teaching qualification appropriate to the grade level.
• Previous teaching experience in computer science, technology, ICT, robotics, or related subject.
• Demonstrated experience teaching or working with robotics, including robotics programming, design, construction, or classroom robotics platforms.
• Knowledge of programming and computational-thinking concepts for K–12 education.
• Ability to deliver practical, project-based technology and robotics instruction.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to assess student performance and maintain accurate academic records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
• Ability to begin employment immediately or within short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver computer science, technology, and robotics lessons appropriate to students' grade levels and curriculum requirements.
• Teach foundational and advanced computer science concepts, including digital literacy, computational thinking, programming, and technology applications.
• Deliver hands-on robotics instruction, including design, construction, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
• Incorporate coding, robotics, engineering concepts, and project-based learning into classroom instruction.
• Provide students with opportunities to develop problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, and technical skills through practical projects and challenges.
• Create a stimulating and well-managed classroom and technology lab environment that supports active learning.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varying student abilities and learning needs.
• Establish and maintain high expectations for student achievement, participation, behavior, and academic integrity.
• Assess, record, and monitor student progress in accordance with school and departmental requirements.
• Provide students with timely, constructive feedback designed to support continued academic growth.
• Communicate student progress accurately and professionally to parents through reports, conferences, meetings, and other school-approved communication channels.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department, school leadership, learning support staff, and other teachers to support student achievement.
• Maintain classroom technology, robotics equipment, instructional materials, and other resources appropriately.
• Support technology, coding, robotics, STEM, or related extracurricular activities and school initiatives as required.
• Attend faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, professional development activities, and other required school events.
• Maintain professional standards of punctuality, preparedness, communication, and conduct.
• Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position as assigned by school leadership.
