Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Proficient in English; Arabic an asset.
• Must be physically fit to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Compassionate, patient with good communication.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medication as prescribed by physician.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor health and report changes to family or healthcare team.
• Light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.
