Overview

At Mood Group, we are partnering with a distinguished leader in the rigid plastics manufacturing sector, renowned for injection moulding for the water industry and pharmaceuticals. Our client is a strategic player in high-volume preforms, closures, PET sheets, and dosing cups, with opportunities for career progression and long-term growth in the plastics packaging sector.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Director - Rigid Plastics to lead the client’s commercial strategies in Kuwait, reporting to the Executive Board.
  • Spearhead ambitious sales growth and diversify export markets by capturing new clients for core product offerings.
  • Develop a comprehensive three-year diversification and marketing strategy.
  • Promote export sales of over 300 tons per month and lead a high-performing commercial team.
  • Mentor future leaders within the organisation and develop committed, high-potential talent within the commercial team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within the plastics or packaging sectors, with at least 5 years in preforms injection sales; understanding of other product segments is essential.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets, developing effective marketing strategies, and leading major diversification initiatives.
  • Ability to present a strategic plan for the diversification strategy and support achievement of KPIs.
  • Strong educational background in business, marketing, or engineering.
  • Experience managing large-scale sales teams and strategic market expansion; leadership qualities such as mentoring, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with water and pharmaceutical sectors or experience navigating regulatory landscapes is advantageous.
