Job description

General Information

Function

Perform the required functions under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the study team with data management for research studies, including entering data into electronic databases.
  • Modify and plan research experiments, procedures, tests, or survey instruments.
  • Review medical records and/or conduct screenings for recruitment of study participants, perform interviews, and administer QOL questionnaires.
  • Assist with quality assurance and track regulatory submissions. Perform other approved responsibilities as required.
  • Interpret, synthesize, and analyze data using scientific or statistical techniques.
  • Complete assigned tasks and targets within given deadlines.
  • Ensure patients’ safety.
  • Coordinate with the ethics committee to generate all research documents and reports.
  • Write all visit reports and file all subject documentation.
  • Coordinate and maintain all medical research archiving.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the head of the unit.
Required Skills and Expertise:
  • 1-3 years of related experience required.
  • Commitment to excellence in research and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of collaborative teams.
  • Ability to understand and implement research protocols.
  • Experience with computer database management.
  • Data analysis experience.
  • Self-motivated with critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Other Comments:

Education: Bachelor’s in a medical field; MD preferred.
