Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutritional care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. You will work with the medical team to develop personalized nutrition plans based on medical conditions and dietary needs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, at least two years of clinical dietetics experience, and strong counseling skills. English fluency is required; Urdu or Punjabi is preferred.

Clinical Dietitian

The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting nutrition assessments and developing individualized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical history, laboratory results, and dietary preferences
• Collaborating with the medical team to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
• Providing education and counseling to patients on proper nutrition and lifestyle changes to improve their overall health
• Ensuring compliance with special diets, food allergies, and food-drug interactions in patient meal planning
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress notes, assessments, and interventions
• Staying updated on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition therapy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited university
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Clinical Dietitian in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition therapy for various health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, renal disease, etc.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills with the ability to empathize with patients from diverse backgrounds
• Experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in Urdu/Punjabi is preferred
• Valid license or registration as a Dietitian
• Willingness to work on a contract basis with accommodation provided
• Own visa or ability to obtain one
