The ideal candidate should have a postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, specialized in Structural Engineering, and at least 5 years of experience in an international consultancy firm. Overview

We are hiring urgently Design Engineer for our factory in Mina Abdullah, Ahmadi.

Responsibilities

• To analyze & design (with/without use of software package) RCC, Prestressed Concrete, steel structures.
• To raise queries to get clarifications, if needed.
• To get the detailing done by Drafters.
• To check the drawings & release for fabrication / construction.
• To provide on-the-spot solutions to unforeseen situations at the work site.
• Study tender / enquiry / Request for Proposal documents and develop preliminary design data.
• Prepare through Drafters, proposal drawings / sketches, with the preliminary design data, for quantification & estimation.
• Analyze and design structure / components within the constraint parameters.
• Prepare design drawings / shop drawings with the Drafters.
• Make site visits to the work place as and when required.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Specialized in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in an International Consultancy firm as design engineer.
• Good working knowledge in English communication, verbal & written.
• Should be conversant with international Codes / standards.
