Civil Engineer (Telecom Background)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications infrastructure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil works related to telecom site builds, upgrades, and maintenance, and will play a key role in supporting the deployment of telecom networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil construction activities for telecom projects, including site acquisition, tower erection, and foundation works.
• Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, site layouts, and material specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and progress reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in civil engineering with at least 2 years in the telecom sector.
• Strong understanding of telecom tower structures, foundation designs, and site civil works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fiber network civil infrastructure is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with local telecom regulations and permitting processes.
