Job summary

Flyper in Kuwait is seeking a qualified Chemist for our Al-Kuwait team. You will conduct laboratory tests and experiments to analyze, identify, and understand chemical composition of substances. This full-time role offers a monthly salary and open immigration policy.

Responsibilities include performing experiments, developing test methods, and maintaining equipment. You will record data, prepare reports for management, and participate in safety meetings to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with FTIR, GC/MS, HPLC/MS preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical experiments and analyses to identify, quantify, or characterize substances.
• Develop test methods for identifying, quantifying, or otherwise analyzing organic and inorganic compounds.
• Analyze organic and inorganic compounds using techniques such as GC/MS, FTIR, UV/VIS, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and Karl Fischer titration.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in good working condition and calibrate instruments according to standard procedures.
• Record all data accurately in laboratory notebooks and enter into computer databases as needed.
• Communicate results clearly by preparing detailed reports for management review.
• Participate in safety meetings and seminars to stay current with safety regulations.
