Job summary

Want More is seeking a highly motivated Chemist to join our Al-Kuwait team. The role focuses on analyzing chemical compounds, conducting laboratory experiments, and reporting findings to help drive product development. The candidate will work with modern lab equipment and must maintain strict safety standards.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience.
• Knowledge of lab safety protocols and procedures is essential.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chemical samples using lab equipment such as spectrophotometers, gas chromatographs, and other instruments.
• Prepare samples for analysis by weighing them accurately and measuring volumes.
• Perform experiments according to established protocols to test Reactivity of compounds.
• Document and report results of experiments using appropriate software tools.
• Monitor safety protocols in the laboratory at all times.
• Assist in developing new products based on laboratory findings.
• Maintain accurate records of all experiments conducted in the laboratory.
