Job summary

AlphaConnect is seeking a skilled Crane Operator in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait to operate cranes on construction sites and related locations. You will perform pre-operation inspections, calculate capacities, and coordinate with ground crews to safely lift and position heavy materials.

The role requires reading load charts and blueprints, plus maintaining records of daily operations. The position is full-time with a 48-hour work week; accommodation is not included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid crane operator certification and license.
• At least 2 years of experience operating cranes on construction sites or similar locations.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts and blueprints.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the job including climbing ladders and working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes according to job requirements and safety regulations.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections of the crane and report any issues or malfunctions.
• Calculate crane capacities and determine appropriate rigging techniques.
• Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios.
• Safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment using the crane.
• Ensure that all loads are properly secured before lifting.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations including hours worked and materials lifted.
