Carpenter (Contract Position)

We are hiring an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Hawalli. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will work on various projects such as building frameworks, partitions, doors, windows, and more.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Carpenter
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of wood properties and other materials used in carpentry
- Good physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Study specifications to determine the type of materials required for a project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or instructions
- Cut or shape materials using hand or power tools
- Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings etc.
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively with other team members

This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month. Please note that this is not a permanent role and does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own visa for working in Hawalli.
