Job summary

SmartAgro in Bayan Kuwait is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The role involves constructing, repairing and installing wooden structures and fixtures, and working with drywall, fiberglass and plastic.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600 USD per month. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, assemble using screws and nails, install windows and frames, and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques.
• Familiarity with woodworking equipment and hand tools.
• Good physical condition to lift heavy materials.

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Bayan Kuwait.

As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing wooden structures and fixtures as well as working with other materials such as drywall, fiberglass and plastic.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
• Cut shape and smooth materials using power saws, chisels, hand tools and woodworking machines
• Assemble and fasten materials using screws, nails, dowel pins or glue
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings and partitions
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other structures using hand tools or power tools
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques
• Familiarity with woodworking equipment and hand tools
• Good physical condition and strength to lift heavy materials
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
• Valid biometric passport or ability to obtain one

Preference will be given to candidates with

• English speaking skills
• Experience working in the construction industry
• Previous experience working without supervision
