- The role is responsible for maintaining the stability of banking applications including Reconciliation, Supply Chain, AML, and other financial systems, ensuring application availability aligns with the agreed SLA.
- This role also involves troubleshooting and resolving incidents, delivering large business requirements (Projects/BAUs) with technical support, providing technical advice, and coordinating effectively with third-party vendors.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage banking systems from origination to resolution, including Reconciliation, Supply Chain, AML, and other systems.
- Develop and configure application rules, workflows, and exception handling processes.
- Work with ETL tools, SQL, and APIs for data ingestion and transformation.
- Experience with FIS Data Integrity Manager (DIM) and/or Coupa SCM systems is advantageous.
- Support websites, web portals, and cloud-based applications.
- Manage application and web servers such as IIS, WebLogic, JBoss.
- Ensure timely and effective application support services.
- Understand technical and functional aspects of banking business.
- Identify solutions for support requests, including system modifications and workarounds.
- Coordinate incident resolution with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Maintain current and accessible documentation of the application environment.
- Provide internal support aligned with business agreements.

Education Qualifications
A master's degree or equivalent with 8 years of experience in Computer Science.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10 years of experience in Computer Science / Information Systems or a diploma with 12 years of experience.
Experience
- 1 to 6 years of experience in Computer Science / IT based on education.
- 2 to 4 years in IT within financial ecosystems.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of n-tier architecture in financial applications.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting with MS-SQL Server & Oracle DB.
- Support experience with IIS & WebLogic application servers.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux server patching.
- Knowledge of remediation for VAPT points.
- Ability to provide Level 2 support and understand application architecture and interfaces.
- Participate in or conduct disaster recovery exercises.
Behavioral Skills
- Strong understanding of business processes.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance, SDLC, ITSM, policies, regulations, and standards relevant to banking/financial industry.
