We are seeking two skilled Business Continuity Experts to support our client in Kuwait. The roles are crucial for enhancing organizational resilience in line with ISO22301 and BCI Good Practice Guidelines.

Location: Kuwait

Start Date: Within 3 months of offer

Contract Type: Project-based (On-demand, up to 3 years)

Overview:

ITHR Tech is looking for two Business Continuity Experts to enhance client resilience and BCM practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document Business Continuity Policies and Programs
• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
• Design Crisis Management Plans
• Create Continuity Strategies & Plans
• Perform Threat & Risk Assessments
• Maintain and audit BCM programs
• Guide BCM exercises and training sessions
• Manage awareness programs and improve BCM software procedures
• Participate in IT Disaster Recovery exercises and planning
• Assist in BCM-related RFPs and projects
• Enhance IT incident management protocols
• Provide strategic recommendations on IT DR environments
• Ensure compliance, risk management, and audit readiness
• Prepare reports, documentation, and compliance evidence

Experience Requirements:

• Expert 1: Minimum 8 years in BCM
• Expert 2: Minimum 12 years in BCM

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelors Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or Banking
• Mandatory Certifications:
• CBCI (BCI Good Practice Guide Certification)
• ISO22301 Lead Implementer

Preferred: ISO22301 Lead Auditor

Technical & Functional Skills:

• Familiarity with BCM software
• Strong understanding of IT systems, DR planning, and exercises
• Risk management, compliance, ITIL, and audit experience
• IT incident management capabilities

Language Skills:

English: Fluent (reading, writing, speaking)

Arabic: Preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent planning, documentation, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage BCM lifecycle independently and collaboratively
