Bulk Plant Operator - Cementing

Location: Kuwait

Job Description:

1. Blend and mix materials such as cement, chemicals, and acids as per programmed design specifications for operations.
2. Operate blending and mixing equipment safely and efficiently, following standard operating procedures.
3. Ensure the quality and consistency of blended materials through adherence to quality control measures.
4. Perform start-up, maintenance, and regular inspections of bulk plant equipment to ensure operational readiness.
5. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bulk plant facility, ensuring equipment and work areas are kept in good condition.
7. Monitor inventory levels of bulk materials and chemicals, ensuring adequate supply for scheduled operations.
8. Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
9. Handle and store chemicals and materials safely, following proper labeling and storage procedures.
10. Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations related to bulk plant operations.
11. Participate in safety training programs and drills, such as firefighting and emergency response exercises.
12. Conduct risk assessments before tasks to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
13. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members regarding job requirements and status updates.
14. Prepare and maintain accurate records of blending operations, equipment maintenance, and inventory usage.
15. Report any incidents, accidents, or near misses promptly to the supervisor and attentively participate in all safety-related trainings and initiatives.

Education & Qualifications:

• Diploma in mechanical/electrical or any other technical trade.
• 4 - 6 years relevant experience in bulk plant in oil field operations.
• Cementing school certification will be preferred.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have Kuwait Light/Heavy duty Driving License.
• Must be able to understand, speak and write in English.
• Computer literate - MS Office proficient - ERP usage know how.
