Qualifications

• Degree in Biology or related field required.
• Strong Python proficiency for numerical validation.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and computational methods.
• Familiarity with bioinformatics libraries and computational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems simulating real biology research workflows.
• Create Python-based problems using Numpy, SciPy, BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and not solvable manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop problems requiring non-trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Verify solutions using Python with standard computational biology libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
